Directions Announces Promotions Of Several Key Leaders
Who was promoted at Directions in 2020?
Directions promoted four key leaders in 2020: Jason Ebbing to Chief Operations Officer, Carley Metsker to Senior Vice President and Group Director leading the restaurant industry team, Beth Finn to Senior Vice President and Group Director leading the travel, hospitality, and shopper team, and Cindy Tullis to Senior Vice President and Group Director leading the healthcare team. The moves directly aligned leaders and project teams based on industry expertise and better positioned the company to help clients achieve business impact.
What are the backgrounds of each promoted leader?
Jason Ebbing joined the firm in January 2020 as Senior Vice President, Executional Excellence, tasked with developing and implementing frameworks to create operational, staffing, and technology efficiencies. In his new role as COO, he leads the Directions team's execution of business operations and reports to Jim Lane, President and CEO.
Carley Metsker most recently served as Vice President, Client Service with a focus on the restaurant industry, and has worked across various functions and industries in her 20 years at Directions.
Beth Finn had served as Vice President, Client Service and Shopper Practice Lead at Directions for the prior four years.
Cindy Tullis led the growth and development of the healthcare industry vertical at Directions through various client-facing roles over her 24 years with the firm.
Metsker, Finn, and Tullis report to Tim Laake, Chief Marketing Officer, whose responsibilities were expanded to oversee all of Client Service.
“Jason, Carley, Beth, Cindy, and Tim have been, and will continue to be, vital to the success of Directions and SEEK. We are proud to recognize their contributions and career success with these promotions and added responsibilities,” said Jim Lane. “Going forward, we will continue to stress our ‘Client is King’ mentality in all we do with and for our clients. The promotion of these client-facing professionals supports that position.”
