Who is Stacey Wetterer, and what is her role at Directions Inc?

Stacey Wetterer joined Directions Inc, a leading U.S.-based insights and consulting firm, as Senior Vice President – Talent Acquisition and Professional Development. In this newly created role, she leads the Human Resources team and reports directly to Jim Lane, President and CEO, leveraging her experience in talent acquisition and management to strengthen the firm's hiring processes and implement a companywide professional development and training program.

"I am extremely excited to add Stacey to our team to be the champion of all things related to the number one asset we possess…our employees,” said Jim Lane. “With her successful business background and a strong desire to be more entrepreneurial, Stacey will have a direct impact on who we are as a mid-sized employer. Her level of professionalism, passion for people, intellectual skill set and the high level of energy she exudes every day will only add to the success of our three brands."

What is Stacey Wetterer's professional background?

Wetterer comes to Directions Inc following a 17-year tenure at Cintas Corporation, where she held various positions in Sales, Sales Training, Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development, and Change Management. Most recently, she was Director of Training and Compliance. She played a key role in creating a collaborative and performance-focused environment across all levels and multiple divisions of the organization. Key accomplishments include developing and serving as President of a women’s leadership program at Cintas, being a spotlighted speaker at the Yello Recruiting Conference in 2019, and receiving the Rising Star award from YWCA Greater Cincinnati in 2018. Wetterer holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from James Madison University, a Bob Pike Train the Trainer certification, and several operational and sales certifications through Cintas.

“I am thrilled to join this extraordinary company,” said Wetterer. “Directions Inc is laser-focused on taking excellent care of their clients and investing in their employees, which in turn creates a world-class, fast-paced, collaborative environment. I am grateful to the entire Directions Inc team for valuing my experience and allowing me to tap into my passion of identifying, acquiring and developing highly talented people for the three brands. I’m confident we will make each other better and rise to new heights.”

Directions Inc is committed to building an industry-leading, representative workforce to ensure they bring the best thinking and highest quality service to their clients. The new ideas and innovative approaches Wetterer introduced strengthened the company’s ability to hire diverse talent, resulting in positive outcomes for the company, the industry, and society as a whole.
